It’s been a hot second since I wrote a normal Currently issue! There’s so much music—so much good music. Let’s get into it:

After listening intently to Desire, I Want To Turn Into You (2023), I’ve decided that I still don’t like it as much as Pang (2019). That being said, I think that the album is very good and subverts a lot of pop tropes to Caroline’s benefit. She’s shining on this record, and she knows it. These songs are going to sound amazing live.

I somehow just got around to listening to this quinnie record. She’s making music in this interesting indie-electronic-pop space where Dora Jar and Remi Wolf exist. I’m very interested to see what she does next.
