Currently: the Spotify cooking mix

I thought I had passed out of the phase of my life in which I would travel for a concert, but I will indeed be flying to Phoenix to see Slow Pulp because I can’t make the San Francisco date. “Slugs” is just so good and Babehoven is opening… too perfect to pass up.

Spotify’s pre-made mood mixes can be hit or miss (did you all see the Intimate Mix fiasco on Twitter a few weeks ago? Seriously, look at how bad yours is), but the Cooking Mix is all hits no miss. It’s for any activity in which you’d like to feel pleasantly surprised and never a little bit sad; the app does not believe in sad cooking. While I take issue with this particular point, I quite like the mix.
